A Prayer For John
An acrostic poem for a friend.

Astounded by the news you had to share,
Perplexed by the reasoning behind it.
Ruthfully, I question our Lord on why you?
Answers await each of us in the end.
Your friendship has always been there.
Enjoyed off and on, as we share a hobby.
Realize, you welcomed me with open arms,
Folding me safely into this community.
Opening doors and encouraging me,
Rare friendships develop this way.
John, I'm praying for and with you.
Oh, Lord show him his path
Help in the surrendering
Navigate him to Your destiny.

Always, Tammy 1/07/06
