Celtic Queen Medb{Maive}

I will be writing as Celtic Queen Medb also known as Maive, Maeve, Maebh amd Medba. I love to write as the character instead of doing essays. Hope you will enjoy this.


I am Celtic Queen Medh. I am not an overly warm person and my scruples may differ from yours. I will tell you about myself. I am Celtic. I live in Connaught and I am a Queen and warrior, which I am proud of. I am the daughter of Eochu Fedlech and Cruacha. I have three brothers and four sisters. I live in first century B.C. I am a historical Queen though some think that I am mythological. I live in Co. Sligo in Connaught and I was named after the Celtic Goddess of Intoxication. I was first married to Conchobar Mac Nessa of Ulster. I didn't get along well with him so we parted. I then married a Connaught chieftain named Ailill. I then married Tinde, son of Connra Cas and finally Eochaid who I stay married to. I am not one to be married but I guess there is a rule that Celtic Queens have to be married. I have the power. No man rules me.

I used to frequent the area known as Cruachain which was also known as the Cave of the Cats. I had pet cats who lived there. I bring my lovers here.

It is rumored that I married nine men so that I could give them Kingship of their territories. I was only married four times. I have seven sons: Orlam who was killed, Mathremail, Athremail, Mo Epert, Milscothach, Andoe, Mingor, Morgor and Ciar.

My daughters are: Finnabair and Cainder. I have a foster son Etarcomol.

I have a sexual appetite and I will sleep with thirty men a day when I feel the need to. I love all men. I have tree dwelling birds that like to perch on my shoulder and I have a faithful pet raven.

I am not sure what men my children belong to and I don't care. I am a Celtic Queen and I do what I want. My favorite lover is Fergus Mac Rouich, Son of the Great Horse, he is nicknamed.

I murdered my sister Clothra when she was pregnant. The baby survived so I am not a total monster. {The baby Furbaide grew up and he killed Medb.} I was jealous of my sister and therefore I murdered my sister. She was married to one man only and I find that degrading.

I lived through a lot of battles and men would do anything for me. I am not ashamed of the Celtic Queen that I was. I had a good life. I won a lot of battles.
