Marriage vows Said in a pasture among cows Surrounded by plows and bales of hay The sun burned bright; we waited years just for this day Sun’s rays reflected lit the field afire, some say Both our hearts and the farm's field ablaze Pomp and Consequence phase Hippy craze NOTE ABOUT Trois-par-Huit: According to Lansingerland A Trois-par-Huit poem has eight lines in total, and a rhyme scheme of: A/A/B/B/B/C/C/C Stanzas are either 3/3/2 or 3/2/3 No matter how the stanzas are divided, the rhyme scheme stays the same. This type of poem has a syllable count 3,6,9,12,12,9,6,3 syllables. The last line summarizes the meaning of the poem. The poem needs to be centered!!!
