Lost Values
My concerns of how we forget the most important values of life.

The noise all around me,
It's deafening to my ears.
But when silence is overwhelming,
It brings out my deepest fears.

Mother nature is telling us,
We really must change our ways.
Earthquakes, Droughts, Tsunamis,
Is this our "Coming End Of Days"?

People are dying daily,
Through natures callous effects.
Yet, mankind still forges on;
War and terrorism still progress!

How do we right the wrongs,
Of all mankind's mistakes?
If the wrath of nature can't shake us up,
What will? For heaven's sake!

Our morals, ethics and values,
Are all nearly lost.
People have easily forgotten,
Our children's live's are the cost.

Will our children have a future?
Will they even get a glance?
If we could only change our values,
Perhaps they'll get the chance.
