God's Love
This is one of my first attempts at poetry.

As I begin in the vestibule of life
God leads me down the path of mercy.
He is my fortress.
He allows me to rest in the comfort of his embrace.
My heart, my soul is soothed by his divine grace.
His peace flows through me as quietly as a country creek.
The magnitude of His love reveals the truth I seek.
His gifts are never ceasing.
I ask, I receive; I seek, I find.
Of all His gifts, God's love is the most pleasing.
He lavishly bestows His love upon us all.
The only thing He asks is that we heed His call!
