The wings of death are not to fear
Comfort, peace my soul doth sere

The face of God mine eyes hath seen
Beckoning down from heaven's sheen
Tell the world he doth await with open arms at heaven's gate

When earthly death comes to call do not linger, thou wilt not fall
Others who hath gone before wilt welcome you with love galore

The wings of death are not to fear
Hope & joy my soul doth sere

All wilt enter, none wilt fail
Come to God without avail
Do thy work, His will be done
Thy spirit life hath just begun

The wings of death are not to fear
Love & grace my soul doth sere
