I’M REACHING I’m reaching up to the night sky To grasp that old feeling, I’d surely give it one more try. If I could find the healing. The power might be among the stars And waiting for the morning, To take away all of the scars Born from our love scorning. I’m reaching for the love We shared, in time, so long ago, When more than in dreams you cared And I was loving you so. I’m reaching for love gone astray- There’s one thing that I know, That old love will return to stay To me and will only grow. I’m reaching out for love of you, And hope you’re reaching too. 1/21/06 Monty
