The Path We tread life's path together, you and I, In vows of love forever we shall be; Enchanted by our passions, we will sigh, Two kindred spirits are forever free; The path is long and arduous to bear, Life holds her secrets to the very end; It is a more digestible affair, To share it with a lover and a friend; So many counted blessings love will give, And darkest sorrows end the longest day; But still love rules the lives we have to live, We actors on life's stage will find our way. There may not be an answer set in stone; But never will we walk the path alone.
