I will be writing in first person as Grania. I love writing about Celtic women. They are women I admire like I do Princesses.

*Flower1* *Flower3* *Flower4* *Flower5* *Flower6* I am Grania, a Celtic Queen. I am the daughter of Cormac, the King. I am fortunate that my father didn't force me to marry anyone. I chose my own husband. I hadn't met Finn when I agreed to marry him. Folklore tells a story that Finn was married to a woman who turned into a fawn and was hunted down by hunters. She gave birth to a child in human form but she and the child fled into the woods to live in a cave. Finn and his band of men known as the Fianna found the child when he was six years and Finn looked at the child who resembled his self and his wife. He took his child home and called him Oisin. He was a heart broken man over losing Sadbh, the fawn woman that he loved so deeply. I wanted to marry this man who was well respected throughout the land.

I got to meet Finn. He was so old! He looked older then father. I immediately decided that I didn't want to marry him. We had a big feast at the Kingdom and I had a big cup that when someone drank from it, they would fall asleep. This was because of the potion that I got from a witch. All the men at thr feast drank from the cup and fell asleep. Diarmuid was the only one that I didn't let drink from the cup. I had fallen in love with him.I persuaded Diarmuid to take me away and he fell in love with me. We had four beautiful children but we were always hiding from Finn and his men. Twice Finn found us and tried to kill Diarmuid but we escaped to Ireland.

Diarmuid was later killed by a wild boar that Finn released on him in the woods. My sons were all in their teen years and they went into training in battles with hopes of killing Finn. Finn came to me and wanted me back. I threw Diarmuid's dagger at him but he caught it and hugged me and kissed me passionately. He hung around my home for days. Before I knew it, I wanted Finn around. He filled the void in my life and I married him. I fell in love with him. My sons were angry when they found out but they forgave me over time. I guess I was meant to be with Finn all along. I never forgot Diarmuid but I think that he would want me to be happy and Finn makes me happy. I wish I would have known that years ago before I made Diarmuid betray Finn. I am lucky to have had two men in love with me.
