The air becoming stifling
Can't breathe Can't speak
Freedom of self in chains
Unable to break free

Insecurities locking me in
Sleepwalking in the day
Playing the strings of my life
Unaware of who I am

My heart goes numb
With the ache
Ridicule and defeat
Yet the struggle continues

Never resting
constant Restraints
Crackling of eggshells
Let me be free
