I meet so many people, who just don’t want to hear,
They don’t believe You love them, they don’t believe You’re here.
They don’t believe I know You. Yet they wonder if it’s true.
Please teach me, Lord, to intercede, to bring them back to You.
And I know You don’t forget my struggles, I know You listen to my voice When I finally look at Jesus, I can’t help but rejoice. You’ve taken sins of scarlet, and You’ve clothed me in Your white You’re dressing me for heaven, I’m going to be Your Bride.
Lord, I don’t like struggles, O how I hate the pain.
Although, I’ve known Your joy, Lord, I seem to strive in vain.
I’m walking ‘round in circles, I’m drawing near despair.
I don’t see any progress, and I wonder if You care.
But I know You don’t forget my struggles, . . .
Your love has changed my heart, Lord
Your glory’s changed my face.
Your Word has changed my life, Lord
You filled me with Your grace.
No force prevails against me, in Your Spirit I shall stand.
And the day You come to take me home,
You’ll take me by the hand.
And I'll know You don’t forget my struggles, . . .
