Leading the Horse to Water
You waded into my soulful waters seeking refreshment in my reflection Is it emotion that you lack or emotion you can't express that takes you to the river? I flow streams of light exuberant joy rolling over stones You said even my sorrow flows beauty throws sparks on the surface of water Diamonds mined by the sun so bright they burn your eyes Pant legs rolled up mid-calf lacking trust for unknown feeling, you won't swim in my depths Your thirst is a badge you carry from dry riverbeds where you stumble on bleached bones Charisma 2-9-06
