He knocked on the door.
She opened it.
"Hello, kind sir, what art thou doing hither at my door?"
He slid his hands into hers. She followed.
She was beautiful and wonderful. His heart melted when he was with her. They went for a stroll a few minutes before midnight. The hills were empty except for the lonely trees and the streaming creek. They were crossing the bridge, holding hands, when the clock struck midnight. The moon was full.
He said "I love you," and kissed her softly on the lips.
They were madly in love.
They walked around and talked. For hours and hours.
Just before dawn, he took her up to the lighthouse. They could see everything from there, the rolling hills, the bouncing falls, the waving water, and the sun rising, spreading it's light into the beautiful city. But most of all they could see eachother. He could not contain himself. He kissed her.
Suddenly he stopped, stopping the xcitement in her heart, and ruining the romantics.
And that's when he asked her.
