Deep within a still dark forest
The pale moonlight shone Lighting the path for the lost Giving all hope in vain There I lie waiting Knowing that all is lost All hope long vanished Stolen by dark trees of the forest My eyes may never see again When the thorns were shoved My ears could hear no more A roar too loud I heard The danger I felt no more I welcomed the dark forest to rip me apart The thudding within me Weeping tears of blood Caused by knives and daggers Never to heal itself again A light began to glimmer Getting brighter slowly My hour had come at last I fled the darkness for light
