My Love To My Love As my thoughts Stretch across the distant years They run to that first blush of love— Through the hectic time of children And the chase for our pot of gold At the end of the rainbow; And though the bow has faded There remains one constant In all of my life— The love that began so long ago Though awkward and unsure Burst into the full bloom Of lasting beauty That shall not fade— Until we are no more! .
