I was at the end of the tunnel,
when it all came down. I could see the light at the end when it all came in. The train was pounding down the track, eating up the miles to you. I could feel us getting closer, on the Georgia border. I was surrounded by darkness, the walls were closing in. I closed my eyes, I saw your face. I felt the light, I could see it ahead. I was at the end of the tunnel then it all came down. My world was caving in, I could see the light I was almost there, when it all came in. I could see your face, I could hear your voice. As I hummed down the tracks, the darkness was fading. You were bringing me home, I was at the end of the tunnel. I could see the light, when it all came in. I was almost there, when the world came down. I didn't hear the screeching sound, horrible sound of metal on metal. I couldn't hear the screams echoing down the tunnel. I only saw your face in the light, I only heard your voice in the wind. I followed you out of the tunnel, followed you home.
