AUTUMN HORIZON Crystal clear blue water Flows swiftly o’er the sand Where twilight’s spell is cast, O'er rich and fertile land. A fish braves the current, Struggling against the stream, Through the deep and shallow Warm river of our dream. Died to but an ember Is now last nights campfire. It is almost out now… Still raging, our desire. Your touch, soft and tender, Yet no fire could compare To this heat of passion; Boundless horizon there. 2/23/06 Monty c-b 6 syllable scheme
