entry for "Take My Phrase, Please: Round 26

AUTUMN HORIZON

Crystal clear blue water
Flows swiftly o’er the sand
Where twilight’s spell is cast,
O'er rich and fertile land.

A fish braves the current,
Struggling against the stream,
Through the deep and shallow
Warm river of our dream.

Died to but an ember
Is now last nights campfire.
It is almost out now…
Still raging, our desire.

Your touch, soft and tender,
Yet no fire could compare
To this heat of passion;
Boundless horizon there.
