The Unsuspecting Skunk
Crinkle, crackle, what's that sound? Out here in the 'burbs creatures abound. Not a squirrel, no chipmunk - Oh my god! I think you're a skunk. Your color, all black, two stripes in your hair. Why do you circle with your tail in the air? I think I'm in trouble. I probably should run. If you do what you do, you'll spoil my fun. So, I'll leave you alone and go on my way. I know that we'll meet on some other day. Farewell for now, take care and be well. And thank you, my friend, for a story to tell. Perhaps I'll see you again some time. And thank you, my friend, for a humorous rhyme.
