Still...

Still…
And on the edge of this I stand
A white tear resting in the palm of my hand
And a reflection of each year
Rippling in my eyes
Still…
Breathless and gone
Again

And inside this blue, soft night I reside
As those gems continue to shine
Deep
Holding your heart…you stumble
Blood rimmed roses encircling my lips
Pay no attention
This could be
Fading…

I think I may have something more to cry
Something more…
To dream

I can feel myself
Warmer

I can feel myself
Behind your eyes

Breathless and lost

Submission in those stars
And Torn
Glowing bright with silver artisans
Falling swiftly from the sky
Upon the door
Knocking…knocking
Oh! It’s Winter. Hello.
Breathless and cold
Still…
Inside

And the pale serenity of her pulsing, beating frame
Fading into us
My Heart
She’s melting into glass
Breathless and calm

And beneath your skin I could feel my fingertips
Feel them
Touch
Under your Faith
Us
Painting Blue

But still…
There’s something…
And close your eyes
Into you
And it’s strange I never knew

Only

Stillness…
