empty parking lot
What wonders your mind?

Lonely nights and strange dreams
Glowing, crowding stars in the sky
Cold concrete and an emotional mind,
Everyone else is asleep in their homes.

Reminiscing memories and questioning paths,
Glowing, bronze lights line the sidewalk,
Warm winds and clear summer-like weather,
No one else is anywhere near here.

Depressing thoughts and hopeful prayers,
Glowing, red sun brightens the horizon,
Painful eyes and a unrested soul,
Exiting the empty parking lot.
