Fox’s Box

There was a fox.
Who lived in a box.
Had rocks in his socks.
He had a pet ox.

The flock heard a knock.
And it was the fox.
The fox came to mock.
The biggest ox.

The ox had locks.
More than the flock.
The flock had a clock.
Sitting on a big rock.

The grinning ox.
Ran down the fox.
Took his socks with rocks.
And knocked him back in his box.

The fox in his box.
How his knees did knock.
Looked up at the clock.
It was half past the rock.

The clock was locked.
With the locks of the ox.
The ox forgot.
How to open the box.

The angry fox.
Ran at the rock.
With his head he did knock.
The splitting rock.

The rock left a knot.
On the fox in the box.
