I COULDN'T SEE So blinded by his love that I just couldn't see the pain in his eyes when he tried to tell me that our romance was over, no hope left to renew; I faced total destruction, he had found someone new. So blindly I gave him my trust, with sweetness I held on to him; The strength of my passion convinced me we'd be happy again, but a gold ring is cold comfort when I am sitting here at home not understanding why he cheats, and leaves me lost and alone. So blinded by love that I just couldn't see that our future together no longer could be... His intentions were plain and now that he has gone; There's nothing I can do except try to go on.
