Mom's New Home

Mom, we have missed you since you have been gone
I try not dwell on that, I focus on your new home

I try to imagine the beauty of Heaven, and all its splendor
The singing of the angels, their voices so tender

I imagine you strolling down the streets of gold
The pearly gates and we will never grow old



I can see you touring your mansion, made by God's creation
It was a gift made to you for your faith and salvation

I imagine the gold how everything must shine
Mom I know your new home is so divine

The one thing I focus on, and try to see the most
Is the moment that you seen Heaven's Host

To look upon Jesus' face, to bow before the Lamb
I can hear you say, I love you Jesus here I am

I can almost hear in detail, how Jesus is the light, that casts many beams
I can see you walking on Heaven's shores, by the crystal clear streams

I can imagine you having complete rest
Thanking Jesus for being so blessed

So my focus is on Heaven's shores, for which I will prepare
And concentrate on the day, that I will meet you there
