ELATION I’ve always wondered why Laughter is a great thing, Or why so much pleasure To a child it can bring? You tell them a story, Or you sing them a song, They listen intently And just giggle along. Their small eyes do sparkle, Like the bright summer sun, As they grab up their toys And outside they will run. I’ve given it some thought And here is what I think, It cures us from sadness, Quicker than you can blink. Monty 6 syllables each line Traditional Poetry.
