Love's a knife that cuts so deep,
And pierces to the heart,
It leaves a wound that never heals,
It tears the soul apart.

Every night the dreams begin,
Of love that will not be,
She comes to taunt you in the night,
With things you cannot flee.

When you give in to the night,
And fall into her arms,
Thats the point where you awake,
Miles from her charms.

And there you lie alone in bed,
Tears stream down your face,
Every night she's there again,
Then gone without a trace.

And when you see her smiling face,
Your words begin to stutter,
Hands and feet are shaking fast,
Heart all in a flutter.

But she wont even talk to you,
Your heart begins to race,
All you want's a quick hello,
Away she starts to pace.
