If I cry a single tear
And it falls down my face To my heart, to my soul. A small scar, it leaves a trace. And it burns a tiny hole Deep inside the best of me Where you used to bring it out. Now it's dying painfully. If I sob a single gasp, It tears a crack in my heart. The one you used to comfort. The same one you tear apart. And in every breath I take, My heart breaks more and more. I've seemed to have lost my way To the girl I was before. And in every single tear, My whole world is a blur. Do you care to heal my pain And to be the man you were? Can your heart find its way To the love that used to be? Can your soul reach out and touch, And revive the best of me?
