Streams of Inner Screams
moving on is hard. grief strikes. we always live in the past. moving on is important

In just two days
tomorrow will be yesterday

Tomorrow will silently reminisce for today,
his yesterday

but yesterday is gone..
swiftly and gracefully gone

leaving nothing but the vacant tissue box..

by the trashcan in the corner..

filled to the brim with tears..

the streams of inner screams
flow toward lips tinged with regret


Why is it that we let yesterday rule today when today is still pending?


Tomorrow is two days from yesterday and

your emotional raindrops
continue leaving inanimate puddles
growing quickly into isolated ponds
