Images swirl in my mind,
visions of you, memories of us. Thoughts of what we could have been, all my hopes, all our dreams gone in a flash. Left in the dust and the mess you left behind when you rode away. The stray cat you refused to name called puss when you thought I was away. A sweater and sock left in the corner memories strewn, scattered in every corner everywhere I look visions of you, memories of us. Images swirl in my mind, all I have left thoughts of what should have been, visions of what could have been.
