Falling Leaves

Another leaf has fallen
as I walk along the path
Another hope has been destructed
Of the many I had for you

I thought you could do everything
With pride I looked at you
As you strided through life confidently.

But what has happened now?
Caught in the wrong stream.

You are leaving me, walking away.

Nothing will ever be the same again.

Another leaf has fallen-
That's the last I'll have for you.
