Why I love You
This is a poem I wrote when someone special asked me why I loved him.

You wonder why I love you
Your eyes can't see how special you are
Your heart so protected
Your mind deceiving you
I wish with all my heart
That I could make you believe
Just for one day
How much you mean to me
Your smile so intriguing
Your voice so full of joy
That special sweetness about you
Makes me ache to touch you
Hold you
The way you make me feel
Like a queen
Someone important
Someone who matters
Someone beautiful
The way you make me smile
Through the worst times
Through the tears
The way you're so carefree
Without a worry in the world
So confident
The way you say "I love you"
How that makes my heart flutter
Makes me melt to hear you laugh
I love you because
Life is now worth living
Love is worth the pain
Worth the hard times
Worth everything life throws at us
God made you so beautiful
Wonderful
Inside and out
Your eyes shining with love for me
Like I'm your angel
I love you because
You are who you are
And it pains me, stabs me, and hurts me
To know you don't think you're special
I wish I could make you realize
To make you see
How beautiful you really are
You make me happy
My asylum from the world
From the bad
From the pain
The one God gave to me,
YOU
The one I love
Always and Forever
One day I will make you see
That you are beautiful
To me...
