SPRING IN VERMONT A gentle breeze is blowing across my green mountain home and the sunset is glowing through the sky's graying dome. ~ The clouds are growing thicker, a smell of rain in the air, as the kitchen lights flicker, with a distant lightning glare. ~ Hard showers will come tonight, the sign of beginning Spring, to water all that’s in sight, needed for each living thing. ~ Morning will bring the sunshine and blossoming all around. All will be just fresh and fine, as rain soaks into the ground. 3/16/06 Monty 7 syllables in each line a-c b-d
