That Which Defines Us
We are defined by what we do, The choices we make, The way we react To the situations that present themselves to us. All we do can have a profound effect On to our path that guides our future. The choices once made Can never be taken back, Mistakes can be learned from, Experience gained, But we will always be defined by the choices Good or bad. The choices that make us, The choices that destroy us, And all that remains Is the shell. The shell of who we are, The shell of who we were always meant to be.
