S ecret kept beneath a cloak of icy winter snow; P ortent of each gardener's hope and nature's greatest show... R esting while the cold winds blew, but stirring now from sleep; I mminent, this life anew held in the future's keep. N o force can stay her destiny ~ Spring simply bides her time; {c} G reen, her promised progeny and sweet, her nectared wine. I n tandem with Earth's covenant; immeasurable, her worth, S eparating Winter's want from Summer's waiting birth. S ecluded though she still may be amid the winter snows, P eeking out for all to see are Spring's first buds aglow. R otund with Mother Nature's milk, proclaiming change to come, I ndifferent, these newborn ilk, to Winter's hostaged sun. N estled deep Earth's ripe womb, legions more awake; G rand and burgeoning with bloom, for nature's call they wait. I mbued with Autumn's legacy and Winter's kill denied; N ature's bondaged blush set free... G enesis revived.
