All over this wonderful world
Beauty can always be found;
Contrary to many opinions,
Decency’s all around.
Even when it seems that
Fellowship’s gone to the pack,
Goodness will find a way to
Help us bring it back.
In awful situations you’ll see
Joy can rise above, and
Kindness can show the way to
Liberating love.
Mean-spirited people
Never understand
Open-hearted honesty and a
Peaceful helping hand.
Quarrels and hostility,
Resentment and frustration
Shut the door of goodwill
To individual and nation.
Until we put aside our differences, and
Value everyone the same,
We’ll never live in harmony –
Xenophobes will win the game.
You and I all need to be at peace with one another;
Zealously we need to fight, and say, “each man is my brother”.
