I watch your long, slender fingers slowly turn yellowed pages
Remembering their gentleness upon my face
Feeling my increase heart speed
Legs like jelly
Total submissiveness

Your eyes meet mine
Your simple “What?”
Brightens my smile.
Mind whirling with answers,
I say nothing.

You stand before me book in hand
Page marked by finger.
You embrace my cheek with tenderness
I close my eyes
Drinking in your love
Marathon heart
Legs like jelly
Totally submit.

Hand around my waist
Dancing to silence
Whispers in my ear
Mind whirling with responses
I say nothing.

Dinner timer sounds
Embrace suddenly broken
Walking to the kitchen
Marathon heart
Jelly legs
Darkened vision
Wanting another chance
To submit.
