WIRE-BOUND NOTEBOOK I turn the pages of this book Now yellowed, stained and old The words written over years Where my life in rhyme is told. Just an old wire-bound notebook Where I scribbled in the lines Of different things that happened In both sad and cheerful times. If words were a dime a dozen, As so often I’ve been told I’d read it once again tonight, To me its worth more than gold. ©11/4/03 Monty ![]()
