Wellbowl

A poem written after hitting rock bottom.
I have forgotten all that I was
Kneeling down at the bottom of a well
I look up to the sky, its so far away
I need to escape, but I cant.
Im stuck.
stuck in the hole of neverending questions
reaching forward then falling deeper into the depths of anger.
Anger leads to pain, pain to heplessness
Nothing left to fight for
Giving in, giving in.
But I smile because I know that here
I can live out false hope in a bowl of dreams,
A hit of crystallized comfort
They will never be true.
Nothing to satisy, nothing to bring me closer to heaven
Giving in, giving in.
Defenses are down
my arms are open wide
hurt me now
make me cry
Im easier to love when im falling down.
