LOOKING UP

LOOKING UP

When this old world gets you down
and you don't have anywhere to turn,
just try looking up, for He is there
with some very good lessons to learn.

He doesn't promise skies always blue,
there will be some clouds and rain;
If you believe with all of your heart,
the sun will soon be shining again.

He is beside you each step of the way,
to hold you with his heavenly care;
He will give you courage and strength
to face any challenge, yes, He is there.

If your cup is not overflowing today,
look up, see all He has given and done;
Trust in His word, don't ever be afraid,
no matter what kind of troubles may come.

Look up at the sky, say a little prayer,
thank Him for all He has sent your way;
Cherish the sunrise that welcomes the morn,
and the sunset ending each wonderous day.
