Itzoo hullabaloo
the people there, all dressed in blue
skin, hair and eyes the same lovely hue
though genetic variety makes it new
lapis lazuli or turquoise, all a beautiful view
every other shade, the list will continue
but their tiny hands are filled with glue
oozing from their pores, imagine that too
favorite pastime, saying hello and touching you

the earthlings hate spots like tattoos
the sticky native color leaves no simple residue
but permanent decoration, like blue mildew
oh well, can't take it in stride, huge efforts askew
they love to argue, to polychrome they can't say adieu

contemplating anew, how to get rid of the goo,
there is no breakthrough, they have not a clue
they've consulted guru, marabou, chiefs of the sioux,
head honcho manchus and wise manitou
even the honeydew colored man of voo-doo
miracle solutions they ardently pursue
the response is dim, they've been given rendezvous
stentorian voices all agree, don't use shampoo
don't bake in a sauna, you'll only become ragout

Tell us eminent ones, is there nothing to do?
Oh yes, three things exist, but may not have great value
at first, defend yourself and learn kung-fu
but then discover they are boxing kangaroos
secondly, around your neck place a horseshoe
they'll cry allergic blue tears, here's a thorny issue
so, thirdly the magic: accept the color change cue
(consternation, they argue, too much ado)
throw away odd colored garments, your wardrobe redo
wear the blue stains like a great bijou
such is the blue-hue snafu
live hitherto in peace, forget the ballyhoo
it's a nice enough tint, a million shades of blue
