I love…
Reading and sleeping, And doing kart wheels in the backyard. I love sharpening pencils and I love jingle bells. I love eyelashes and elbows. I love clean sheets and bouncy mattresses. What else do I love? Everything, Everybody, Except badguys. I love socks because you can slip with them on linoleum floors. I love toes and I love music. I love simple things and complex mazes. I love hugs and kisses. I love laughing and feeling all warm and melting inside. I love my family. I love singing and humming and running. I love long hot showers and bubble baths. I love chocolate and the early morning air during the summer. I love when stars are brightly sprinkled in the crisp dark sky. I love drinking out of a sprinkler with my eyes closed against the harsh stream of water. I love loving things and I love loving people. I love it when it’s quiet and also when it’s noisy. I love highways and sunsets and fog. I love seeing heat shimmering up from the playground asphalt. I love rain and cookie dough and warm pie. I love my friends and I love staying up all night. I also love waking up early on Saturday and realizing I can go back to sleep. I love cuddling, With a blanket, With a loved one, With a teddy bear. I love people who care. I love taking care of people. I love spinning in circles until I fall down. I love when people know when to hug me or to leave me alone, And when to tell me to quit whining. I love the smell of a lawn being mowed. I love blowing bubbles and trying to catch them. I love airplanes, trains and riding in the trunk of a truck. I love ice skating and sledding and igloos and cold red cheeks. I love when life springs up from the winter as snowmen and angels. And I love chocolate. I love love.
