Altarose - My Sweet, My Love
Dear Altarose, my sweet surprise, Moonlight sparkles in your eyes. It surrounds me, It abounds me. More radiant than the star filled skies. Oh, Altarose you precious thing, On Angels lips your name they sing. Sing loudly, Sing proudly. Makes God smile and the heavens ring. But, Altarose you are not mine. Kept from me by fates unkind. I am needy, And oh so greedy. I hoped your soul was mine to find. Please, Altarose forgive my sin. Your affections are not mine to win. I love you; I covet you. But your moonlit eyes belong to him. ![]()
