Creases, lines, marks cover this well worn, aged face, Have earned each of them; they're my character, my base. Adversities are the ones that are gaping and run so deep, Rage and depression came in riling while I was asleep. All the scars are an integral part of who I have become, Comforted by wisdom and hearing the beat of my own drum. Tenderness in the fall is truly special, very elusive at heart, Each day an adventure; morning with a fresh new start. Really relaxed inside my skin, is what sets me apart.
