LAST FIRST KISS *** How well I remember my last first kiss, it happened on just such a night as this! His hair was golden, his eyes were blue, I knew at last my dream had come true. He was so gentle and so very kind that he almost made me lose my mind; I'd have thrown myself down at his feet, wanting to taste a first kiss so sweet. But alas, and alas, alack....His smile, as he puckered up with toothless guile, was more than an aged heart could bear, and after that first kiss, I left him there! That was indeed, my last first kiss, now I sit alone on a night like this; intrigue and infatuation I feel no more, I turn out the lights and lock the door. I say my prayers as old folks still do, Lord only knows what I've gone through. I'd rather remember my FIRST first kiss, especially on a summer night like this. Countrymom 4/22/06
