That's Why I Was Made

Jesus said to bring God glory
is do the Father's will
To reach this goal we each must find
our purpose, to fulfill

It doesn't mean to search the world
and do each task we find
He will guide us, if we listen
in soul, in heart, in mind

Maybe this day our Lord will ask
to help a neighbor friend
Or maybe He will ask that we
help world hunger end

What matters most is each to bring
a chapter to life's story
A piece, purpose, and meaning to
the One whom we give glory

When I pass through His Heaven's gates
my memory here will fade
But Glory lasts eternally
and that's why I was made...
