I stare into the emptiness
of this dark, dismal night and contemplate the reasons I have come here to fight. I've gone across the ocean leaving all I know behind to help protect the freedoms endowed to all mankind. I do not fight for oil no matter what they say. I came to fight for freedom and the American way. I fight fomy family my children and my wife. I fight for neighbors to preserve their way of life. I fight for the dream of what we all could be if the people of this world were granted liberty.
