Why oh why Mr. DJ,
did you play that song on the radio today? We stared aimlessly at each other and wonder why, neither before now had said good-bye, Good-bye to a love that always felt new, good-bye to a love that now had turned blue. I wanted to that day by the seashore, after the tide had receded, and losted its roar. I wanted to that day at the Fox theater, when you reached for my hand as we went up the escalator. Now all we can do is stare at the door knowing in our hearts, that this love is no more. There are no more plans for us to share, our hearts are split and we're no longer a pair. No more lies in our hearts, only sighs of relief for a new start. I hope you find another who'll love you true, a girl witty and pretty with eyes of blue. A girl whose heart that will belong to only to you and maybe one who can make, a good pot of stew. This relationship ended on a wonderful note, no reasons for fear or for either to gloat, so goodbye my love it was a wonderful ride, I'll be moving from the west to the upper eastside and if you're ever up that way don't hesitate to make your way to 7352 Melrose bewteen Cameron and Clay.
