Red Ran On The Carpet

By Siddy

I removed a thorn in my side today,
Red ran on the carpet, insides displayed,
A loyal friend, betrayer by night,
Red ran on the carpet, too bloodless to fight

I searched for an answer, lost hope on the way,
Blue veins turn black, body withered away,
I heard a voice, "I am dead", is what it said
red ran on the carpet and It tucked me in bed
