Life's Shields
A cheerful poem that shows life is good + bad, and that we should not hide from it.

This was done for a contest, prompting that foolishness, folly or follies had to be in the title or poem itself. It is an acrostic with a rhyme and 8-7-8-7 rhythm scheme.

From a view of ever after
One cannot help the laughter.
On trains filled with fairytales
Love will show that it prevails.
In this world of ceaseless joy
Shine on; do not destroy.
Hope will never be far from here.
Nothing left for you to fear.
Easy, as life will come and go,
Shadows have nothing to show;
Shields are naught but follies we use.
