Garden sprinkler left overnight In frosty dawn makes a wond’rous sight; Water droplets in freezing air Creating icy patterns everywhere. Chain-link fence, by water hosed, To crystal diamonds is transposed; Leaves and branches are weighed down With sparkling icicles all around. Into this frozen garden scene Steals magic sunshine, gold, serene; Catches every icy prismed face, Transforming all to jewelled lace
