the day he took a risk
what does his gloomy smile hide
is it glee or shameful deeds
all truths are not to be told

what does his gloomy smile hide
is he in love, timid unsure
all truths are not to be told
has he killed the cat, or eaten a rat?

is he in love, timid unsure
the object a man, hard accepting the risks
has he killed the cat, or eaten a rat
society condemns him, for loving a man too

the object a man, hard accepting the risks
they say it's a hard life, easier to stay safe
society condemns him, for loving a man too
the pure will cry devil's got him

they say it's a hard life, easier to stay safe
some places he'll know prison, others exile
still the pure will cry devil's got him
all because he thought he could love a man

some places he'll know prison, others exile
what he feared will be forced on him now
all because he thought he could love a man
that day has become his living hell

what he feared will be forced on him now
is it glee or shameful deeds
that day has become his living hell
the day he took a risk

My personal records state that a rhyming scheme
is not required, although Bianca's information does.
